LOCATION - MUMBAI, MAHARASHTRA

CLUB HOUSE

On edge of Vashi Creek, the clubhouse reimagines recreation as an interface between sport, leisure, and landscape. The Architecture combines indoor and outdoor sports facilities with hospitality and social spaces, shaped by CRZ- regulation and the site’s dual-access urban condition

Approach .....

The project is conceived as a layered recreational landscape, where access, movement, and visibility define the spatial experience, the main public entrance is positioned on the shorter, pedestrian-oriented side, ensuring safe and intuitive access.

Internal circulation is designed as an experiential spine, with a curvilinear pathway tracing the cricket ground to visually connect users with ongoing sports activity and reinforce a sense of sportsmanship.

The centrally located, elevated reception acts as an orientation anchor, offering visual control and creek views while creating a grand arrival sequence.

Programmatic zoning follows functional character: introverted indoor sports facilities are placed near the entry for operational efficiency, while the restaurant is elevated along the highest contour to maximize views of Vashi Creek. Social interaction is activated through an amphitheater integrated with the football field, while guest rooms are positioned at the site’s far edge, ensuring privacy and retreat.
