Conceived as a dialogue between learning and landscape, the educational institute in Manali is shaped in direct response to the academic curriculum and pedagogical requirements of the courses offered. The campus is envisioned as a self-sustained learning environment, seamlessly integrating academic spaces with on-campus accommodation for students and faculty, fostering an immersive and holistic educational experience.

As an IIM institution, the Concept of placing the library at the core of the campus, establishing it as both the intellectual and spatial anchor of the design. The organization of academic and residential spaces radiates from this central node, reinforcing knowledge as the driving force of the institute.
Rooted in the cultural context of Manali, the architecture reinterprets local traditional forms through a contemporary lens, balancing regional identity with modern academic requirements.
The design is further shaped by climatic responsiveness and topographical sensitivity, with built forms stepping along the site’s contours to enhance comfort, continuity, and environmental integration.
